Er.....What?!!!

The sun reporting today that Leicester are struggling to offload Kelechi Iheanacho just 5 months after signing him. The reason?

Apparently sources close to the club have said that Jon Rudkin has given Inheanacho a 5 year contract with wages of £115k per week and no other club wants to go near him for that amount

£25m and £115k a week?!! If this is true then what the actual fack is that clown doing and how do we get Rudkin out of the club as soon as possible before he bankrupts us.....

There aren't many teams were he would score lots of goals, largely because most of the sides from the top 6 down seem to prioritise defending and hoping to nick a goal or two from limited chances.

He'd probably be a good option for Arsenal but still as a sub, or back at City!

He's just a very limited footballer.

I know which is why I’ve said ‘if true’ before slating Rudkin once again

Either way he’s still blown £25m on a pretty average player the manager didn’t even ask for

We probably have one of the best attacking set ups outside of the top 6. He has Mahrez, Gray and Okazaki supporting him so that’s no excuse

Actually I would be willing to give the kid a lot longer to prove himself.

In the pre-season friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach he came on as sub and immediately looked class and linked up with Vardy really well. He then got injured after 20 minutes and came back after several weeks looking poor.

I know it was only a friendly but confidence is a massive thing for a player - especially a youngster - and if he gets it back I could see him regaining the form that made us part with £25m for him.

I've no idea whether he's putting it in in training but if he is and working hard then he deserves at least a year to break into the team and show what he can do.

And I'm really not inclined to believe the Sun when it comes to the claim about his wages, which would make him the highest paid player at the club - above Mahrez, Vardy et al.

Oh god
Memories of when Pearson took over and
A clutter of players whom wouldn't play in the championship or drop their wages
And were happy to just turn up and train
What a bl##dy mess that was ,,,,
And rudkin was in the club at that time
Obviously learnt nothing

Just seen the signing as his way to glory
If it had worked
Time to go !!

How much do you think Musa is on a week?!

Musa I'd hope is 40k ?
But as the lads got pay rises
50k?
Salami 60k?
McGuire 60k ?

Iheanacho is more than a tap in merchant. He’s a goal scorer.

His finishing is excellent.

If. IF.

You give him service and get him the ball in dangerous positions. I agree with the statement above that he’s an out and out number 9.

Problem is so is Vardy, and he can also pull defences apart, a willing runner and has a superb first touch.

Ian may come good, but at the minute he’s looked so lacking in all departments other than finishing, it’s a worry. We dont want to end up stuck with a player who is so limited. Hopefully he works on his game to improve.

What a mess up his recruitmebt was though. With Shakespeare aparantly not keen, who actually signed him??!!
