This for me is absurd.
for those who haven't seen it, they had an ad with a child wearing a hoody which says "coolest monkey in the jungle"
the issue is that the child wearing it is a black child.
People are up in arms about it, raging and calling H&M racist.
For me, any child should be able to wear that hoody because i don't think we should be discriminating, should H&M have refused black children the oppertunity to model that item? surely thats discrimination as well.
See the man, not the colour - thats the way forward.

I agree, but you have to look at in the context in which it is said
There are some of the older generation who use it to refer to a shop and do not mean anything racist at all
Whereas a group of youth who call someone a p ak i bastirt for wearing a turban are clearly racist and mean to be racist
