Blackburn Fans-Ewood Park

Hey guys, looking forward to visiting ewood park this saturday, first time up there, anyway we have a couple of hours after the game before we get our train back (hopefully with a win). Is there anything interesting to do, good bars or food for visitor fans etc

Thanks

The Fernhurst is a great away pub going towards Darwen from the ground (the away end side), its always packed with away fans pre-match but I understand becomes more of a mixture after the game.

There's plenty of other pubs around the ground, most are home fans only but Rovers fans are generally a friendly bunch so you'd be fine getting in without colours on (and at a lot even with colours).

Saddens me to say but the town's a bit of a hole these days. If you're heading up that way you'll encounter many a takeaway and run-down pub but not much in the way of London-type bars. The Weatherspoons near the train station is always a decent shout.

Non-drinking activities: The shopping area of the town centre's had a bit of a revamp recently so that looks decent, there's the odd snooker/pool bar around, ice-skating arena, cinema (probably won't have time for that), there's a cathedral if you want to look at something cultural.

Ok I'm out

If you want to look at something as_shit as Almunia, you could pop over the wall to Burnleh!
