Unless Everton and Burnley really pick up we are nailed on for sixth place. With the team we have that is decent....
I joke of course. The problem we have currently is we are much better than 14 teams and nowhere near as good as 5.
With Sanchez and possibly Ozil going this week we look a team bereft of flair and when your starting 11 has Chambers, Iwobi and Welbeck in it you know the good times are over.
I see no point buying anyone now, not Malcolm in the middle or Mahrez on the right. Might as well give the youngster and fringe players this season and have a new man spend the money in the summer.
As pointed out, it would take some doing to finish lower than sixth.

UEFA cup is also taking on importance. Winner gets CL. So we need to buy and they have to perform immediately .

J99 thinking Wenger won't extend for the next 10 years if he manages to win the Europa

Now is the best time to sign players. Gives them 6 months bedding in time for next season.
The new set up means players are identified and bought for the boss, so managerial change won't matter.

We need to win the Europa and send Wenger on his way upstairs with a trophy, and give the new manager the funds to build a team that can actually challenge in the CL and at the top of the league
