The club have said they want the fans involved in deciding the new badge.
So what have we got to say?
With regard to the now defunct cartoon salute badge I have not noticed much negative comment about the top of the badge. Leeds United in white letters on a blue black ground. Could that element be retained?
I believe that if the following were included in the new badge then most fans would be happy.
Leeds United
Yorkshire Rose
1919
White blue yellow colour Scheme
Then there is the shape triangular like the current crest or circular?
Would we want a special centenary year badge with for example a 100 year reference specifically for the 2019 season?

You guys do realise that as much as the new crest was a laughing stock, most non-Leeds fans think the smiley badge looks rubbish, right?
I'd like the salute crest, but with the salute replaced by a white rose, and with 1919 written in blue underneath.

the shield is ok, its acceptable and is recognisable. However i've always thought it looks slightly chavy, which makes the choice of replacement very shocking

agree this would have been the obvious choice. It would be classy and tasteful. Possibly with the addiction of a tasteful image of an owl and a peacock as a further nod to our history. And the message should have been "marching on together for 100 years"
