But aren't they talking about Robertson as being an England defender. Klopp has been picking crap defenders and keepers so most of the blame lies with him.

Lescott wasn't a brilliant defender but Kompany made that City defence look good. That is Van Donkey's job.

He’s a good player but that’s it. He’s nothing to justify being the worlds most expensive defender.

Put VVD in United, Tottenham, or City and he'll look closer to the £75m player Liverpool paid for than he is at the moment.

Liverpool have a lot more defensive issues that they need to invest in to sort out. Just like Pep, who spent £200m+ in sorting his out. And don't forget their midfield.
