Sad to Christiansen go, not given enough time in my opinion.
Sadly its a reflection of how the game has gone and certainly the way in which Leeds United handles matters.
Is AR the right man to take Leeds United forward? I think he's been the best custodian for many a year. He's not going to get everything right and he has certainly done much that has been credible in a short space of time.
I'm relatively comfortable in Heckingbottom, he's young, knows the Division, he's had some success and more importantly, he's a Yorkshireman. We've had a couple of good'uns from these here parts in the past, excluding Colin of course!
I'm not bothered about Barnsley's performance this season, they keep selling their assets and the squad doesn't have the quality (relatively speaking LIW before you start) that we do. He's a defender so I'm expecting some improvements in that area and then we'll have a foundation on which to build.
Yes the squad is deficient but it's under-performing right here right now.
Will we reach the play-offs? I'd like to think we have a chance but for me, stability is the key to future success.
Good luck Paul, you're one of ours now and I wish you the best of success guiding the best team in the Universe let alone the Championship back to the promised land.

Its people outside the club demanding something that hasn't been promised!..
As for the new coach he has to be backed both on and off the terraces to have any chance of success!..

Would take Tom Bradshaw as a striking option.

He's signed. Now he and us just get on with it.
Wish him well. And hope to God he's the answer.

And how about the class of TC saying his goodbyes
this morning. Must also add that the club and him must
be leaving on good terms at least. Or so it appears.
Genuinely good bloke.

TC is a good and decent man. I'm sad he didn't get more of a chance but things were getting out of hand.
I hope he goes on to really make a name for himself as a coach and I'm pleased that he was associated with our club, albeit for too short a time.
If it all goes belly up for the new boss then I think it's time to get rid of that odious fir-ball, Orta.

Doesn't sound like someone who had lost his dressing room to me.

Obsessed with having British managers in this country....if you're good enough you're good enough, I don't care where you are from.
We will find out about PH very soon.

TC came across as a good bloke, but I'm not convinced he would have ever got his head around how to tackle the meathead teams like Millwall and Cardiff. Even 'kin Newport roughed us up

Good article, Stevie. It's important to acknowledge what Radz has done for the club. He does get things wrong, but he has done an awful lot to improve relations with the fans and the community. He's the one who puts money into players and infrastructure, and no-one can argue that he hasn't done both. He brought in three useful additions in the transfer window, and he gave TC time to prove himself. Not enough time in your point of view, but the fact that he fired TC tells us that he was not prepared to let the season peter out. He wants success just as much as we do.
As for Heckingbottom, it's a risky appointment, and his first interview did little to assure me that he has a grasp of the problems at the club, or the means to resolve them. The only time he spoke with conviction was when he talked about his rivalry with Leeds players when he was growing up and playing the game. I would have liked to hear some positives abut the squad, and a focus on the rest of the season, but he just sounded vague. I did like his comment about the opportunity some of the younger players will get, because of injuries and suspensions, but I was hoping to warm to him, and I didn't. It makes me wonder how he is going to win their respect. However, Rome wasn't built in a day, and 3 points on Saturday would change everything.
