I will be stepping in to replace Visco as a Captain this year to lead a team against the might of the Chopper.

We have two set of strips (thanks to Lauders for sourcing a set). One is blue and white stripes and the other is Maroon. Teams will be selected on the day. We have enough players but more players are welcome.

Who’s in? EVERYONE is welcome to come and play some part in the game even if you can't last the full 90 minutes. The more players that can play even just 20 minutes the better.

This will be the third time it has been run and personally speaking it has been a huge success both times (despite late call offs and no shows)

We need 30-32 players to account for last minutes like mentioned alongside injuries and cramp! We have the option to bring in a few Spaniards that don't play regular 5's (on top of the couple who do) but I'd much prefer this was a forum and 5's game as much as possible.

Visco and Chopper are tied at 1-1 in the Captains head to head so are both desperate for the win before handing over the reins. Teams will be selected in advance and may be published but are subject to change on the day to avoid last years imbalance due to no shows

The Champions League Final is that night for those going out post match. NNH has kindly organised the Admiral for afterwards (I can't make it post game. As always I have family and friends arranging birthday stuff that night)

Charity

Glasgow Children's Hospital has become JA Scotland's unofficial charity. Every penny helps them in the fantastic things that they do. Last year we ended up raising in the region of £2000 and the year before over £1700 for a fantastic cause.

There is by no means any pressure to donate to charity and all players are more than welcome just to pay the £5 to cover the costs.I will set up a page closer to the time for donations.
