Edge of Darkness.

Not the sub standard effort from Mel Gibson but the original beeb series from the '80s with Robert Peck and Joe Don Baker.

I watched the Gibson movie but was totally underwhelmed but thought I'd try and get the original, only £5 from Amazon.

If you've never heard of it or seen it I would highly recommend it.

Well worth a fiver.

Aye it’s quite brilliant ath - film we meant to see was sold out so went to that instead - didn’t expect much but both of us walked out saying it was brilliant - definitely worth going to see

Really enjoyed Gibson's version when it was in the cinema so much that I bought the Bob Peck one on dvd. Didnt get too far in as found the bleakness of 80's Britain too crippingly depressing to carry on. Even now I still have the vision imprinted of him in his s**t little Fiesta (or whatever it is) trundling down the motorway.
