UEFA have announced some changes to the Champions League from next season.
One of the most notable being the KO times. Now games will be staggered, in a similar manner to the Europa League, with KO times now at 5:55pm and at 8pm.
Find that change very frustrating, did not enjoy the early KO time during our spell in the Europa League.
Full changes can be found here.....

This is a good idea if it is done properly.
The further east you go the kick off time should be earlier.

Should only be Eastern European games that have early KO, that I do understand.

6.00 Kick offs - they are having a laugh. (some of us have jobs) and they will still insist on automatic ticket allocation? That's criminal.

another example of football becoming just another television programme for most.

Course they will, it's annoying.

If the games in Eastern Europe are early kick offs, that's fine and makes a lot of sense. It's the games in Western Europe for which that's ridiculous.

How am i supposed to get to Kiev for 6pm when i finish work in Dunfermline at 5pm.

Wouldn’t bother.
It’s close to a major disaster area. And so is Kiev.

I suppose the staggered kick offs mean we can watch both games in one night, so if there’s a Real v PSG game on at 5:55 and your own team playing a Basel, Porto etc later you can see your own team plus the other, possibly more exciting game too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah it is good for that I suppose.
Thinking it won't be good for match going fans having to rush to the game during rush hour or your die hard fans like Barry to get home to get to a dodgy link at home.
The timings will be focussed on CET time though to cater for those fans.

Yeah, that's the downside, even people who live in Greater Manchester and finish work at 5:00-5:30 getting to OT before kick-off will be a push.

even the director of venue at OT states that supporters should take their seats one hour before the kickoff.
