How do we get out this slump then?

Our next 3 games are Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and Bolton. It's arguable that the fixture list hasn't helped our season really - we've had runs of 'easy' fixtures followed by runs of tough fixtures. Maybe if they had been a bit more evenly spread we wouldn't have the situation now where it feels like we're one of the worst in the league. But we've passed that tough run of games now and you look at the next three and think we should be getting some points here.

How do you want to see PH set his team up? Current formation isn't working for me - we leave Lassoga too isolated but don't have the solid midfield. I want to see people in their actual positions and a more mobile line up.

The sad thing is Ellando even if that happened, it would still take a few teams to lose 3/4 in last 10

Winning games would be the best way to get out of this slump.

Simples.

Pennington at right back isnt the worst shout in the world Ellando. He has played there before for Everton. It could aid our achilles heel of defending corners/free kicks as we would have 3 tall defenders. Might mean we could revert to man-to-man marking.

BPF in goal is also a good shout. There is zero justification for playing either of Lonergan or Wiedwald so we may as well see whether BPF is a future number 1 or 2.

Your front 6 is too attacking mind. Good teams would cut it to pieces. Personally i would rather the new manager had come in and made us hard to beat - if that means reverting the formation to a more defensive one then so be it. Grinding out a few clean sheets and draws against the better clubs would have been acceptable.

Matthew Pennington is listed at 6'1" and looked like a midget compared to the Wolves players on corner kicks.

Lubos selection is valid. He is backing the most experienced players and playing them in the positions they should be playing in.

It is however a system that has struggle through the first 3/4 of the season. Players for the majority of the season have played in their preferred position. I cannot back a goalkeeper that has been voted JA606 worst ever goalkeeper in Leeds Uniteds history.

I think De Bock has been taken out to get fitter/stronger and i think its probably the right decision longer term. Remember when he came he had not been playing games but because of the lack of left back he was thrust in the deep end. Hopefully he comes back a better player and one we can use next season.

Hes a small centre back which is another problem when he has been covering for Cooper. However a 6ft1 defender surely has to be a big help and Berardi can play left back if De Bock is not ready.

Its not aways about picking the best players but trying to get the best out of the squad you have. Look at George Graham when he came to Leeds. He inherited a struggling side and brought in players like Mark Jackson a young centre back and played him centre midfield for weeks and weeks. Offensively we scored 28 goals all season i think and it was turgid - Jackson played lower-league football rest of his career after but he was picked to do a certain job in a difficult time.

Hecky should have come in and made us hard to beat. We look like a sieve since he arrived.

In normal circumstances I would agree but how else are we going to stop conceding from set pieces so often? Your line up changes nothing
