Is there much ‘Celt’ DNA in the UK, then?
I’m sure I read that it’s more of a cultural heritage, than a genetic one, but maybe not.

As i said, it depends what you mean by Celtic.

According to what my brother was told, it seems to be Irish,Welsh,Scottish and Cornwall, so all the West Coast of the mainland and Ireland.

The bottom line is, none of us would win Best In Show at Crufts as we're all mongrels

Celtic is a very contentious term. Can be difficult to know what it means. The Celts were a tribe of Gauls. Celtic was originally a linguistic term used to refer to the dialects and languages of the regions that you mentioned.

You are correct in what you are saying, and I am sure that different Ancestry DNA test providers would have a different way of categorising this.

I am not sure of what criteria this company uses, or for that matter, what type of results they say that they will provide

Reminds me must remember to click on that Paypal link in the email asking me to go in and check the account details and of course the one from Apple saying I need to confirm the account as it was utilised in Colombia yesterday.

I think Genghis McKhans DNA will be in quite a few of us.

He had a bit of a reputation for partying on a Saturday

It would be a bit of a shocker to some on here if they had Fergus McKhans DNA in them

Could be Fergus McKIng as both those seem to have a bit of of the Clarence the cross eyed lion about them.
