Derby County 1 - 4 Sunderland

1945
Pride Park
Fri 30 March

Wahay!!! Ten years, this month, since we were relegated with the lowest ever points total. Look despite the attempts of those on the special needs end of the A52 to make a thing of it (thank you very much ), let's just reflect and ponder that we were actually in the EPL ........plus it was a formative, sobering season for NSR. Anyway, I enjoyed it and we only lost lots of games by a little bit..............and doesn't May 1999 strike a chord?

Friday brings Sunderland to PP. Seemingly a club in turmoil and only heading one way. The stats and omens are totally against them but they have been for many teams coming to PP this season and look what happened. This is the first time that Sunderland have come to PP since 2008 when we were in the PREMIER LEAGUE but if they lose they stay bottom.

Derby are without Tom Huddlestone who is serving his one match ban - what a weird system - and no doubt the midfield conundrum will be discussed. Still, Deadly, GT, TL, CJ, Keogh, Keogh and The Nuge are all fit. So that's alright then.

After a boring international break, punctuated only with stories of drug smuggling, match-fixing owners - which of course are all untrue because the Florist fans said so - we return to,the rough and tumble and mundane of Championship football.

Things to discuss:-
# One year to BREXIT.......are we ready?
# Fit and proper owners in football, does a proper decent, threshold really exist?
# Hands up,who enjoyed our time in 2007-08 - bearing in mind that on our last game, when we lost 4-0, there were still 33,000 fans in PP?
# Is Rameses making a serious effort for PotY?

Team news from Mojaca or has he gone off grid again?

Afternoon all. Well, sadly the gig I was at last night had a telly. I briefly got a chance to wander over between sets. "Don't look" said a Burnley fan at the bar. I laughed, knowing he was just winding me up. I mean it was Sunderland at home FFS. No problem.

"I told you not to look" he said, a sympathetic look on his face.

That's that then.

Lol.

Also Forest stayed up last season on account of 2 goals better goal difference.
Bendtner scored 2 goals for Forest.
His contribution can be seen as fantastic.
Your contributions?

Anyway, this is Forest-Derby banter. You are like the spotty fat kid at school who tried in vein to get on with the cool kids.

The cool kidsYou’re about as popular on here as a Max Clifford autobiography would be if it were handed out on international women’s day

Are you honestly suggesting Bendtner was the reason you stayed in the division last year?!You facking mug - how many goals did Britt score for you? If you hadn’t have gone for that danish waster and signed someone decent you would have been nowhere near the drop

You utter shambles

I see you still fail to understand irony. Oh well.

Oldest trick in the book, trying to claim you were being ironic when you’ve made a fool of yourself.

Is that irony, Vidal?

I’m surprised anyone can see BS’s comments as many have filtered him.

It was a joke doing the rounds at the end of last season; Lord Bendtner himself... oh, don’t know why I’m bothering, there is no cure for stupid.
