what with the new stadium coming along was thinking about some of the Old grounds I used to go to that have no been replaced.... as crappy as some of them were I actually miss them compared to souless rubbish that's around in the top 2 divisions.... Couple that spring to mind..... The Dell (for that mental sloping stand), Roker Park (Never been so cold at the footy), Old stamford Bridge (guess I was thinking about Butch Wilkins, but just remembering how far away the stands behind the goals were from the Pitch & the cars parked inside the ground !!!!
Any other favs from a time long gone ????
Cheers

Loved the old wembley. Once went on a tour, got friendly with a girl doing the tours called Wendy - least to say I got a cheeky private tour of the Queens living quarters. Luxurious. Just luxurious.

The Old Elland road was a great day out
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not if Everton beat us 4-1 in a semi it wasn’t
----------------------------------------------------------------------
was at that game .............. Beat Liverpool at Anfield then play crap in semi
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I went to Anfield for the quarter final
Ruddock was tapping the top of his leg as if to say I’ve got jurgen in my pocket
Wasn’t doing it when klinsy scored the winner near the end.
Fair play to the scousers tho they gave klinsman a standing ovation at full time which I thought was classy.

That's a myth actually Hounslow. It was pure coincidence. The milkshake vendor was coming round the Kop so they all got up to stock up and wait for our bus outside.

"Mind you if Kenny Hibbit had not dived in injury time for penalty that game would never of happened .. "
Sound a bit like a scouser there

We lost in 5th round to Everton in 1983 first lose in 2.5 yrs and i was at every game
Semi Final replay against Wolves at Highbury was pure magic..... 40000 yiiiiiids there ............ hotdog stalls getting nicked and rolled down the road
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was in the clock end for the replay against wolves in 81 and it still ranks as one of the best times I’ve had at football.
