Not F*cking Likely.

Joint 8th favourites next season along with Everton

Firstly, congratulations to Wolves on their promotion.

I'll be interested to see how the club deals with their inflated expectation in the Prem.

No doubt their fans will come on here and say they'll be content with survival but I my guess is their expectations are much higher.

You see the problem with having such rich owners is that the fans will think they're capable of anything. However, with such a low turnover, Wolves will never amount to much.

I also suspect that Mendez will want to ship on players like Nevez at some point so he can get his big fat cut.

It might seem rosie right now but I fail to see how you can end up being anything but disappointed.

Soz!

I'd like to think that we could at least finish around mid table next season. We have the nucleus of becoming a regular feature in the top flight, but it does worry me slightly that Mendes may well try and move some of our talent on, to further boost his pockets.

That's pretty much what they were suggesting on the radio last night.

If Mendes has no material interest in your club then he will definitely want to make a profit at some point. It's not in his interest for the likes of Neves to stay at Wolves for the long term.

Or perhaps Fosun give him a nice incentive?

Hypothetical, I know, but if a club like Barcelona did come in with a 65million pound offer for Neves, we'd have to lick our wounds and cope somehow.

Can they do that within the FFP rules though? Only time will tell I guess.

The reason Mendes has been more successful than most other agents is that he has demonstrated that he acts in the best interest of his clients, players and clubs, rather than just go looking for the quick buck. Through that he has gained the trust of important players and people in the game
