They could have put him in the last 7 ffs

Build his character up without showing him for the first half of the season

I read somewhere else that part of the attraction for Ali was his character getting killed off. He liked the arc I think.

Molina talking about Doc Ock'a return.

Interestingly it sounds like he is playing the exact same Ock from Spiderman 2.

The only reason Spiderman 3 excites me is because of the characters being brought in. I thought Homecoming was a great start but I haven't liked the stagnation we've seen in his character growth. He literally fought a titan in Thanos and took part in one of the biggest battles ever in Endgame, yet he's talking about not wanting to be Spiderman in Far from home. Tony's death and the events of Civil war,IF,Endgame should have matured him, yet he's still this reluctant hero. Hopefully Toby can knock some sense into him

Don't you feel like it's copout after the success of Into The Spiderverse. I know it's difficult to have authentic material in the comic book world but to announce something that like that so soon after one of the best animation movies ever. Just stinks of plagiarism to me.

To a certain extent but the idea of a multiverse is something that both DC and Marvel have used . I like the idea of seeing a live action spiderverse and it brings more interest to the current spiderman series with Holla d. As long as the execution is good, I'm not too bothered by the plagerism aspect.

I'm looking forward to Spiderman 3 for various reasons, but I also can't help but think this would have been a great chance to introduce Kraven. Would have been a perfect setup to have him hunt down Spidey on the run.

This new Spiderman movie just stinks of Sony flexing their muscle on Marvel.

If it works though then great but phase 4 is looking underwhelming apart from one or two movies.

posted 23 minutes ago

There are four movies this phase I'm looking forward to - Eternals, Spidey 3, Thor 4 and Dr Strange 2.

But it won't really kick off till they introduce the likes of Blade, F4 and the X-Men. Short term I'm more interested in DC's slate, especially TSS and The Batman.

Yep phase 4 is clearly a transitionary stage and as mentioned above, it's setting things up for the big guns like BP2,F4,Blade,X men.

Hollands Spiderman isn't ready for Kraven. You'd need an older more seasoned spidey to take on someone at Kravens level. It would be like putting Holland against Carnage. Too one sided.
