All was going well apparently until a few members were unhappy with putting in so much money and handing it to an inexperienced manager. That's why the rumors of Sean Dice being approached last week came out. He was first choice but Burnley wouldn't play ball and wanted somewhere around 10 million as a payout.
Gerrard got word of it and was tired of the constant back and forth and indecision so that's why he's backed out and will be staying at Liverpool.

1. He'll up the profile of the Scottish game and force us to finally spend some of that champions league money on some blue chips players
