There is no shame to losing Real Madrid in the final. When push comes to shove they have big game mentality players they have players that play for these occasions. The manager Zidane also hasn't lost a final. He knows as a player what it's like to win and lose these type of finals and more importantly through that experiences knows how to prepare a team for a one off showcase trophy match. Wether pretty or not they know how to win. That's a big club trait. Of course it will be disappointing to lose the match but really we have gone beyond expectations. Every club in Europe would love to play in a CL final. Winning it takes some luck and world class performance. We will have to see which Liverpool team turns up?

Haven't we also worn red against a team in white on both occasions that we have lost the final?

Firstly you've played only 2 CL finals and you lost one of them. Athens? AC Milan? Ring any bells?

Our previous defeat to Liverpool is a very old memory, but it still hurts.

Talking of omens , last time we lost to United 2-1 at Old Trafford where the same player scored 2 ( Silvestre ) and Liverpool goal was an own goal O'Shea was in 05. In 2018 Rashford 2 and Bailly own goal to make it 2- 1 to United. We all know what happened in 05 hey Baz ?
