If Maurizio Sarri comes in and implements a 4-3-3 system do we expect Luiz to stay? Theres been rumours linking him with Emenalo at Monaco and also in a swap deal with Koulibaly coming the opposite direction... A €15m fee to Napoli also.
It was interesting to see Girouds reaction to scoring and running straight to Luiz, I mean even if they are good mates that's a pretty odd thing to do unless you're trying to make a point.
Does Luiz have a future with us and if so is he really reliable in a back 4?

Can't see Luiz playing in a back 4. He'd be more useful in midfield.

I would actually like Luiz at Spurs.... Could see him replacing Dembele.... Not great defensively but he can play. Surprised he hasn't had more chelsea this season esp with Bakayoko being useless & Barkley always injured

Still think he's one of our best players. Obviously he's had a massive falling out with the manager this season. Just hope we keep him for next season under a new manager.

Considering Sarri likes playngout from the back why wouldn’t you want Luiz?

I don't think its a given that Luiz cannot play in a back four. If Cahill can, which I assume most people think he can, then why cant Luiz? Serious question what qualities has Cahill got that Luiz hasn't to play in a four. Pesonally I can't see any. I also know a few will say Luiz makes mistakes or switches off but so does Cahill.

We know he can play there, As can Cahill but is it a good idea? I mean in the middle of a back 3 he has more responsibility to stay disciplined, in a back 4 he rushes into midfield alot to try and intercept passes and leaves his area exposed.
Id much prefer him to play at DM with Kanté and Loftus-Cheek slightly infront. Luiz can pick out long passes as good as Cesc imo.

Also I know Cahill has made a couple of mistakes dilly dallying on the ball but Luiz's mistakes are more impulsive meaning he probably wont cut them out.

Cahill's problem is he is way to submissive, constantly jockeying and not being aggressive enough.

Jeez i hope not, that's a mid table level midfield even with Kante there.
