apparently Maguire wants out. Wouldn't mind him if Toby leaves but Leicester would demand a hefty fee, and doubt he would come without being guaranteed being in the first 11.

He's very good on the ball and can play a lot better at LCB than anyone else we have who isnt left footed.

Son contributes way more on his off and on days.

I just think lower table exciting wingers aren't often what they are cracked up to be as if they have 1 good game in 3 then that is what a lower team needs to get a reasonable points total - whereas we need a player who performs week in and week out.

I rate Shaqiri personally. He was good enough for Bayern as a youngster and he works hard. Undoubted quality in his left foot. I'd back Poch to get a tune out of him.

Yes agree with that. Too good for some of the garbage he had at Stoke, but would be decent with the the likes of them. He’d be good at an attacking team like Bournemouth.

Shaqiri is just another Bolasie, Junior Hoillet, Clint Dempsey etc etc

Fine then, Arnautovic or Podolski.

Arnautovic is a good comparison. They both played together at Stoke and on their day are dangerous players, tells you everything i suppose when they were in the same side and still didn't push the team on too much.
