I am down south in England at the moment, visiting from down under, and the weather is glorious!
But it looks like Glasgow and large areas of Scotland will get the top temperatures today. I love Glasgow in the rare times it gets hot like this. Enjoy it folks. The parks like Kelvin grove, Roucken glen , Queens park are at their best. Brings all the women out.
Is it too hot though? Who wants to work in this. And house too hot at night?

Just taken the dog for a shortened walk due to the heat....got me thinking how hot is too hot before you keep the dog indoors if at all possible

Aye as stated above, gobshite warning didn't necessarily mean the entire planet is now cooking in sunshine.
What it means is that there is more energy in the atmosphere which means more weather in general.. Clouds, rain, snow etc.
Can also affect the flow and position of the jet stream, which again had a major effect on Scottish weather as we sit pretty much bang underneath it.
