He was pretty awful, but does get an extra mark for doing a Fellaini on Fellaini. How neither of them got yellows for pretty identical 'tackles' is beyond me.

Aye, Columbia’s the Univetsity right? But despite knowing this, I always spell Colombia incorrectly (apart from just then...)

It bugs the shat out of me, basically if you spell it with a U you are just a wanna be American

Dier 3.5 - no press, no pass
Loftus-Cheek 5 - meh!
Delph 3 - no pressing, no rhythm
Rose 4 - all Belgium's chances came from his side
Vardy 3.5 - huff and puff but no end product
Rashford 3 - I wanted him to do well but missed England's best chance

Jenas et al have just picked out Dier as England's worst player and he was, by a mile. Terrible performance beyond putting Fellaini on his arris.

Actually, you've got a good point. An international team consisting of not one player of note, mostly journeymen and a couple of young hopefuls. A team that would be in danger of relegation in the premier league, maybe?

Trying to think of who was left at home who could have been a better 'dirt tracker'. Jack Wheelchair was probably the highest profile absentee but the fact that he has to go to Turkey to get a game says a lot about his abilities. Few English players are deemed good enough to go to the top leagues in Europe and the top PL teams have better foreign players than English. If you took the PL champions and asked which of the English squad would get in their team and it puts it in perspective.
