The deal for Stephen Thompson's shares to be sold has collapsed.
John Gibson, Ferry based property developer, had been in advanced talks and thought he had a deal, but apparently it's collapsed.
Sad news.
Season tickets still on sale.

Hard to tell.
Certainly bad news.
Don't think it's terminal news or anything like that though.
Not sure who else is out there to buy him out though.

The books must tell an awful story, surely Tannadice is prime real time estate and a developer pulls out? Strange

I wouldn't have necessarily thought so. The area isn't exactly the best.
I'm not entirely sure what Gibson's plan was for the club - he could have been looking to jump into bed with the Yanks next door on their Nou Campy stadium project.

I think that is the way both clubs need to go Ivan, having seen the the upsurge in Modern Student flats before I left Angus/Tayside area Dens and Tannadice would be prime for that development.

Agreed ull Tannadice down and maybe just give up on the footballing side, you can just watch the good Dundee team instead.
