Everyone is banging on how good this lad is, but reli, out of 6 goals, 5 of them have been about 2 yards out, yet to create his own goal or score from range like Somma and Nunez can and have done. 6 goals is a big improvement on last season but he's nothing special, I think most of the 606 ers on here wlda scored nearly all of the goals he has scored.
Another note, cant wait for tuesday, were gona get smashed to bits but hey its only the cup and id be much happier beating Brighton who albion. Something needs to happen to Snoddy and Howson, both lads look out of place atm, I thinks its serriously down to the outgoings at ER. Snoddy and Howson were in red hot form several seasons ago wen they played alongside there team mates. Alongside this lot they were lethal, its a bit like ur best mates from work all leaving and new ppl coming in
* Beckford - GONE
* Johnson - GONE
* Gradel - GONE
* Killkenny - GONE
* Kasper - GONE
* Hughes - GONE
McCormack this season and Howson/Snods form

'Ask yourself why Keogh hasnt been getting on the end of them instead.'
Don't get started on that guy, the chance he had at 1-0 when he hit it straight at James instead of opening his body up and placing in the corner nearly cost us the game. Bristol were a side lacking in confidence and a 2nd would have demoralised them further and made the game comfortable and probably avoided us going down to 10. He's a good footballer but i expect goals from a striker i'm afraid.
As for McCormack he rescued the Palace game virtually on his own with his overall contribution and goals and as you say is a very good footballer.

Does anyone really care how he scores the goals?
As long as he scores the goals......! Eh?

I think some of his goals were not just tap-ins anyway. Talk about changing facts to justify your arguement.
Can I also remind you that neither Shearer nor Linaker scored lots of screamers, just lots of goals

Im not saying he's bad, im just saying why are you lot thinking he's rivaldo!!
You lot make all of our average players sound good, wat will man u think of lightweight Howson and walking on ice becchio??? They might take well to Nunez tho

howson has been off the boil fair one but nunez was some hero for scoring a few goals in the carling cup! ok they were good goals but his overall play is poor! put sam on the wing and put nunez more central where he's most affective!

We need a somma,
I honestly think you don't understand football. Movement and being in the right place at the right time is vital for a striker - Hernandez, Darren Bent, and Beckford are examples. Why was McCormack the one of the end of these chances and not another player? Because his movement was good and he finished them.
As for Howson being off form - he's not. He's playing in a deep lying CM role. That's not his best position. It's just like how your precious Nunez is ineffective playing left wing - it's not his best position.

Shut up best fans, Howson is being dire as per usual, Nunez shd pla behind the striker. MC is alrite nothing special and his movement is good but he hasnt really proved he can create his own goals. beckford Hernandez and Bent can all create, Mcormack hasnt yet
too hard for you to understand perhaps?? create his own chance, look it up
