Where to start?? Well how about the guy i singled out a year ago..roughly, i said he is likely to be one of the best mf players there is; N Keita, now you can hopefully see what i mean. He will only get better in tune with this team, he will be a monster for us
Next defensively i thought we looked solid, no dramas and even when alisson miskewed one it turned into an excellent pass; gomez looked assured and VVD just said show me a better CB world...cmon. The guy is a rolls royce of a player 100%.
We controlled that game, managed it and played in 2nd gear last 30 mins; then we watched as Studge, Shaquiri and Hendo came on...20 secs on studge scored. Its a proper squad we have, whatever happens i think we will give every comp a decent shot and playing away to the other top 4 teams, well i cannot wait

On a separate note, leaving aside village idiots on here, I think we shouldn't judge Liverpool as a potential title challengers until they have faced the top 6 of last year.
In the meantime, they did what they were expected to do : win 3 points.
On that basis, they are off and running.

On a separate note, leaving aside village idiots on here, I think we shouldn't judge Liverpool as a potential title challengers until they have faced the top 6 of last year.
In the meantime, they did what they were expected to do : win 3 points.
On that basis, they are off and running.

Great start to the season, albeit against poor opposition. Easy for the new lads to not be up to speed but think it goes to show the benefits of getting your business done early in the window and having a full pre season to bed the new players in. Keita was class today. Bar that one flap Alisson makes me feel more confident than either Karius or Mig ever did.

You said Keita was amazing because Liverpool were linked with him, despite not seeing him play, however even if that wasn't the case, it doesn't make you nostradàmus to guess that a £50m player would be decent.

Our finishing was abysmal and we failed to capitalise on our dominance. We should have scored at least double the number of goals we did. Fortunately it did not cost us but we have to do better next time. Klopp needs to address this in training.
Happy with the three points though.
