KSI v Logan Paul mental numbers

400,000 purchases already on youtube @ £7.50 each. Jesus man they’re two youtubers and it’s not even anywhere near fight time yet so imagine it will hit at least a couple of million, plus Manchester arena is sold out.

Does more than most main boxing fights

Mayweather mcgregor was fun especially the build up, if you don't get any enjoyment out of boxing then why the fk do you watch itit's about the event just as much, especially considering how so many fights don't live up to expectations either

You must like WWE rasslin as well.

I prefer to watch boxing talents and real competition and not fake fights and talk.

Boxing is about what happens in the ring.

But you know i haven't fallen for anything.
Just trolling the troll.
just can't help myself sometimes... sorry if i ruined your fun.
Now, you figure me all wrong, but whatever, i won't sweat it, just another 40 degree day, and nobody gives a damn about 40 degrees.
I was never gonna entertain a back and forth.
Lets Parlay.
You fight fan yes?
Big fight this weekend, lets chew the fat about Canelo v GGG. Unless you think i'm not worthy. Then we'll part ways.

As for Youtube, great platform, i like mostly movie stuff.
Don't have favourites.
Well, there is Noel and Suri the scottish fold cats, how can you not love them, sooo adorable.

and whose your favourite Youtuber, now that Alex Jones has been shut down?

Good to hear that you didn't fall for this farce.

Some of these casual boxing fans are a joke.

Well i guess he's gone. So makes me think he was serious. Thats worse than being a troll.
If he had read the thread, he would've known i was interested in the analytics..
But still, why would he be so bent out of shape for others having simple fun out of it. just don't watch.
But he went out of his way to comment, 3 weeks after.
thats weak.
So what was the point. If not to troll. To lord it over everyone?. cos he's superior somehow?
fack outta here.

Imagine One direction decided to play some other boy band at football, and footballs loved it, it sold out arenas and people bought it on PPV.

Wouldn't you think these people were idiots?

D4- i wish you were trolling. I thought you were trolling. This was never meant to be taken seriously. There’s loads of stuff out there that i scratch my head to.
But i have my own guilty pleasures i’m sure people would say ‘jog on’ to. So who am i to rain on someone else’s parade.
But you’ve gone out of your way to have a pop.
Theres something wrong there. Lighten up a little.
From a business point of view, you have to respect it.

Take my example.
Football fans would not put up for celebrity over skills and talent and top team competing against each other.

But there seems to be a growing trend of this in boxing.

It really is a shame when some fighters work their entire lives and their talent and effort is not rewarded and the fanboys are not interested in them.

But they fall for hype jobs and celebrities.

I don't hate anyone trying to make a buck. Just don't like these fanboys that fall for cheap tricks who pay no attention to the real talent and the great boxing match up that happen all the time.

D4, i totally agree. I understand that you highly respect the sport of boxing.
The last time i had a dust up with someone over these type of 'fights, was when some believed in Ronda Rousey taking out Floyd. !?!!
I wasted many minutes going back and forth.
You'll always gonna get culture vultures in any popular industry. and these guys saw an opportunity to cash in.
but i think people know the deal for what it is...
We have been living in the era of the reality TV star for a while now, and it doesn't seem to be fading anytime soon.
But these guys were unique cos of their social media following. its massive. so respect to their hustle, but it only goes so far.

The football example is an inappropriate comparison for several reasons but the main one being the nature of the sport. Boxing is legalised violence. If two people do not like each other, what sells more, them having a game of footy or fighting?

Seeing people settle their differences through combat is highly desirable because it calls to the primitive part of our brain.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree, casual fanboys do have more primitive brains.

Like I said, I don't blame the guys exploiting fools, or giving something for their fans.

But you got guys on here who call themselves boxing fans, getting drawn into YouTube celebs fights, when the target auidence of these guys are 12-18 and these are grown men in their mid 20s, 30s and 40s maybe older that should know better.

They seem to be attracted more to the hype, the trash talk, (which is fake) and picking sides, tribalism, rather than the science, the top level match up and watching the best boxers fight.

No other sport would put up with that, and this breeds this favoritism in boxing, where popular fighters get the decisions as they make the money.

And top talents if their face doesn't fit or have the right promoter will get ducked and miss out on their career.
