Hull City 0 - 4 Derby County - Carabao Cup

KCOM Stadium
Hull
1945
28 August 2018

Distraction or attractive option to proceed? Same team or change every position? Stick or twist? Chance to experiment?

Derby go for their first of two trips to Hull on Tuesday and hopefully I will have more to write about for Saturday's game. Nothing really comes to mind except we are here by virtue of beating Oldham in the previous round.

So, back to experimentation. Frank may start with Waghorn/Marriott. Could also be a chance to ease Huddlestone back in. I know there is a school of thought that says we should be going out to win and others who say 'so what' just as long as we perform. Could be interesting.

Florest are on a roll in this competition, after putting 11 past the mighty Bury in the previous round and consider their appearance in the final as a foregone conclusion. We only put two past Oldham .

Or I google free streaming championship highlights and end up having to delete all manner of filth before actually finding footy not booty.

I actually don't exist View I am a spam bot created by Google to send you appropriately suited advertising products.

So for you View I might direct you to clothing apparel websites for those hikes in the oft rain drenched hills around Carsington Water, Vidals will get the latest tiger woods signed toothpick adverts and Scouse will be offered a Russian bride or a lady boy depending on his latest searches.

Brilliant! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

But there's nothing wrong with my AC/DC t- shirt with khaki shorts and walking socks peeping over my lightweight walkers

Might I interest one in a top of the range anorak as a fine addition to your fine walking attire sir?

Oh, there for fun are you ?
Should have realised. If you"d have been working, you wouldn't have been complaining about the price of the beer

No I am officially being paid to be here Ang, but "working" is stretching it a bit, particularly today where I have just been banging computer keys. I did do a bit of graft yesterday (that involves tools and raising a sweat as far as I'm concerned).

Talking of such things 2W, I'm in a place called Calenzano (industrial area on the north side of Florence), the main road is crawling with ladies of the night after dark

There is a big lorry park nearby, I think that must be the reason?

They could be doing a bit of lorry spotting on the side Scouse.

Scouse, I'm on a training course in downtown auckland, the place where I park my car during the day is all fine and dandy, but after 9pm it's a notorious hotspot for the freaks and ladies of the night to frequent. Thankfully my course finishes at 4 so I'm long gone.

Just watched extended highlights of the game, obviously it won't be the same hull side on Saturday, but our team was also made up of mainly youngsters and those considered as bench warmers or squad players, and to see how completely in control we were was very encouraging. If we had won that 7 or 8 it wouldn't have been unjust. Waghorn, what a fantastic goal, Marriott did everything but score and looks a player, josefzoon a livewire, mount getting better and better, Holmes gets an assist with his first touch with a fantastic cross, pretty much a perfect all round performance. Let's do it again on Saturday and send a real message to the league.
