Before I start, I have no issue with him wanting to leave.. it’s a short career so decisions have to be made about your future more often than many careers.
That said, I have a couple of issues with his wee paddy on Twitter.
The first being that it’s unprofessional. It’ll achieve nothing but to annoy everyone at Celtic.. Lawwell because it undermines his negotiating position, Rodgers as it he now has a player who’s being a mopey kant, and the fans as he’s basically said he doesn’t want to play for us.
The second issue is with the content itself. If he values people who stick to their word, then surely he should be prepared to commit himself to the full term of contract that he signed? Instead of spitting the dummy out in public.
If he goes, it’ll be with the fans’ blessing but not sure how this will affect negotiations.. Lawwell won’t budge on price, yet Lyon will probably try and force it down knowing Dembele wants to leave. Can see it being a stalemate at that rate. Dembélé has potentially just sabotaged his own move by being petulant

Potential now for trouble in the camp to cause you lot big problems.
Supposedly the dembele tweet was aimed at Rodgers. Boyata was thrown under the bus by him and the players then seemed to back Boyata. He could lose control of the players.
Probably won’t but the camp is fractured
