Twist we did and succeeded in a not flattering 0 - 4 score line which has given Frank The Bounce some selection headaches.
The old cliché of a player taking his chance when not a regular bore fruit as several Derby players (I am talking about Tuesday's cup tie ) showed exactly what they are capable of. Marriot should have had a hatful, Waghorn looked classy, Flo Jo was very impressive and Holmes who finally made his cameo set up the OG with a superb cross.
Will it continue? Playing against the same team but not the same team with not the same team but still from Derby County. I hope so.
Florest continue to impress after not losing a game all season which means that the gap between us and them is merely a blip and only means that they will not win the Championship until the fourth week in January at the latest.
The only distraction to Derby is complacency - overcome the game against Hull succesfully, we enter the international break (I ask again "what the fnuck is that about?????) in a top six berth, nicely placed to come second.
