Spiderman, Spiderman, does whatever a Spideman can, and now you can too. the reviews are in and it seems Sony has another hit on their hands.
Sitting at 8.8 on meta, it may not quite be hitting the amazing heights of God of War, but is another quality title to add to the PS4 library of games, and is right up there with the best games this gen has to offer.
Now I'm only going by the reviews the game is getting, I have not played or even seen the game in the flesh, so can't speak personally, But being a Marvel fan growing up ( I still have a ton of old comics in the loft) I will be swinging the streets as soon as it hits, and will pass on my opinion then, if anyone is interested?
I have left this link, it is not a review and carries no spoilers, all it shows is the differences between the PS4 and the PS4 pro, I did notice some of the enemies had tattoo's in the Pro version and a few other minor differences, but basically the same game.

Oh, as Simon has pointed out, Digital Foundry has done an extensive analysis of the game. It would seem Insomniac have done a remarkable job in bringing the Spiderman world to life, well worth watching.

Pretty much what Amiga said re the pro: if you have a few hundred quid or a good trade in offer get a pro, but an OG will be fine unless your running a decent 4k TV. Not much point in upgrading imo even if you have a 4k TV but seriously if that is the type of thing that bothers you consoles shouldn't be where you are at.....come join the master race ,

Dude as with all the big games I really want to play them......but time and my PC have made a huge dent in my PS4 gaming time, and then there is battle field next month so, I'll certainly pick it up one day 😂 But will go in my back log with Horizon and GoW, just can't get enough pubg

Open beta for battlefield starts 2moro if u pre ordered. Sadly this time u need to pay upfront with the preorder but don't feel so bad as all dlc will be free. Some big changes being made to bf that I'm looking forward to.

Beta started yesterday if you pre ordered and opens up to everyone tomorrow. The ability to install started on Monday.
I'm looking forward to it, some nice things have been added, especially the changes in the classes.

Hmmm i tried to start up the beta and it told me that only pre-access was available (i have pre-ordered the game) so i thought that meant that only those that pre-ordered the deluxe edition got early access as it says thats one of the perks for the deluxe edition?
Maybe its just EA/Dice problem? I have had problems with battlefield in the past !!
So is it defo a fully open beta as off tomorrow?

Yes my friend full open tomorrow. If you pre ordered you should be able to get on (but it might be pre order from Origin only or something stupid i guess)

Finally got it working !! you also had to download some enlister thing aswell as the beta, aswell as pre-order.
Its very different (I am a BF veteran) it still feels like BF1 in the movement. Gun mechanics have completely changed and I still havent got used to not spotting enemies.
Really notice the difference in ammo being restricted, when on killing spree's you will need to pick up that ammo or pick up others guns. (now when you pick up a gun its just the gun, you dont switch classes).
Very much more skill based which Im all for recoil is much stronger but they have gotten rid of random spread for a more predictable recoil pattern so can learn and master a weapon. Will blast a few more hours tonight.

I've heard that while Spiderman looks fantastic and the gameplay mechanisms are very good, the storyline is fairly dull and the use of the (very good) roster of villains is disappointing.
