But yeah my conte making the 3-5-2 popular again in the PL was more in contrast to eriksens comments that everyone wants to play like spurs, which I can't agree with.

Spurs are just a better team than most, but I doubt any team that finishes above them wants to play like them.

They go hand in hand, play like Spurs and top three finishes. Or you could play like Chelsea and end up 5th.

Or... play like Chelsea and win the title as they do that quite regularly.

Think the majority of the Mancs red would disagree with you here Nic. Although they would settle for Amy form of entertainment atm, instead of watching Jose’s bus do a three point turn across their own back most weeks.

Having read the article now I don't know why you are kicking up the fuss.

The direct quote is: "Everyone wants to play like Spurs. We want to play attractive football, get the ball forward and create chances with good possession" When comparing how he and teams play when he is at both Denmark and Spurs - meaning that he prefers the football Tottenham plays.

It is a pretty innocuous comment, he isn't belittling any of the other good footballing sides in the league, just saying that everyone wants to play good football - which we do.

Ah the internet, where talking frankly about football is misconstrued into people using "bites" "getting angry" and "kicking up a fuss".



Just talking about it, someone made an article on it, I thought it was bizarre that's all. Spurs are a better team then Denmark/ No comparison there.

Teams like to play better football with better players. Not exactly breaking news.

Well you weren't sure what his point is - which is why I said the point of the article is that he prefers the football he plays at Spurs over that at Denmark.

To be fair they don't know what it feels like to win trophies, it's been that long so his comment is understandable. Pretty football is like a trophy for them.
