Some Perspective regarding Millwall

Many supporters both on here and various Facebook and Twitter feeds think we should be going to The Den and wiping the floor with Millwall even with the team we had to put out today. If we couldn't then we are not promotion candidates.

Well we didn't, and not many sides have done.

Since 20th November 2017 Millwall have played 22 games at home, Won 10, Drawn 10, Lost 2.

During that same period last season Wolves, Cardiff and Derby could only manage to draw at the Den, and they beat Boro, Forest, Villa, Brentford and Bristol City.

This season they beat Derby, held Boro and us, and were unlucky to lose against Swansea.

So, they maybe thugs and play unattractive football, but nobody goes there nowadays and gets much from the game.

The teams that got auto promotion last season took a draw there and moved on, we have to do the same, because very few teams will come away from there with anything more.

This result hasn't got me concerned at all, it's a good point, onward and upwards.

It's a great point - and well done to Jack Harrison, who will now no doubt start to fire on all four.

Keep him away from LIW's lass, that's how she likes it.

Do you think that's a dig at us lads?

No pal

I don’t class this as social media, just an extension of the pub, where we’d chew the fat.

Twitter and Facebook, where you get people directly abusing player and generally talking utter garbage

How do you Listen to social media. Unless you use Microsoft Text to Speech.

Five stars from me. Just as important as the equaliser was the five minutes that followed. Milwall threw everything at us and we held firm. It shows that we are not just a skillful team, we can also graft and grind out a result when we are not playing well.

Good point away from home, good for other players to get game time.

Someone other day said they were worried about our injuries but I didn’t feel we had that many, now we do, it’s important to not lose much momentum. Clearly points per game haul is slowing down, hopefully boost that a bit with home games, 2 points per game over season surely sees us go up in autos.

Good point given the circumstances and the timing of our goal.

Great to see Harrison grab a goal and a good one at that showing real quality. He has really stepped it up the last 2 games and an example of someone who has benefited form the game time as a result of one of the injuries.Much more to come from him.could be a vital player.

Roberts a bit raw but if he can finish a chance and get his season going in next few games it will do him the world of good.

Defence was also solid which gives us a good foundation in tough away games such as this.
