Certain players get stick if they have played poorly for a sustained period but for Roberts who's just come back from a serious injury playing away at Millwall to get abuse is just wrong.

He could've quite easily scored a couple of goals on another day, he doesn't look a bad player. He just needs a goal I feel and he will be on his way.

Because social media is a disgrace at the moment, and I mean for everything

Don't get why players have social media tbh. Seems no benefit at all and it's not healthy to get abuse from strangers straight to your phone.

It's the tweets that are replying to a player or tag them that I hate. Roberts tweeted about his Wales call up and how proud he was and had Leeds 'fans' replying to him with negative comments. Overwhelming negativity on that site.

The simple reason they have twitter is to amass followers in the hope of increasing Wages / Sponsorship (certainly for the top players)

Otherwise I've no idea why they have it, Facebook they can add who they want and limit what they are subjected to.

However, these days have young guys huge salaries (compared to a guy on the street) and LOADS of time to kill means they'll use social media to interact with people.

Doukara a much bigger asset than Ekuban will ever be.

Think at least some social medias aren't actually run by the player but by their agent or an agency or stuff like that. Remember something last season about a post on John Stones' Twitter being meant for a different account.
