On Saturday Nuno’s wolf pack travel to London to take on Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace.
Wolves, who currently sit in 9th place in the table, go into the game on the back of 2 home wins and an away draw at Old Trafford in their last three games.

Crystal Palace, in 13th place, have a draw, a win and a loss to show for their last 3 games. On Monday, they were beaten by Bournemouth by 2 goals to 1 which was probably a fair result as their only goal came from Van Aanholt who was clearly offside and they threw away a well- earned point by conceding a late penalty.

• In their last 5 games Wolves have gained 11 points, 2 less than Man
City and Liverpool, the same as Chelsea, 2 more than Spurs and 4
less than Arsenal.
• Nuno Espirito Santo is almost certain to create a Premier League
record by naming an unchanged starting 11 for the 8th time.
• Ivan Cavaleiro scored on his Premier League debut just 94 seconds
after coming on as a substitute for Wolves against Southampton.
• Wolves have scored 8 Premier League goals so far this season,
scored by 7 different players.
• Three of Wolves’ players have scored on their Premier League
debuts; Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez and Ivan Cavaleiro.
• Wolves are only the second team in Premier League history to have 3
Portuguese goal scorers in a single season; Neves, Moutinho and
Cavaleiro (after Chelsea in 2008-09) They will doubtless create a new
record once Helda Costa and Diogo Jota add their names to the
score sheet.
• Although Wolves current match day squad contains more Portuguese
players than Porto’s, it also has players from Spain, France, Mexico,
Brazil, Morocco, England and Republic of Ireland.

• Crystal Palace Manager, Roy Hodgson is one of only 4 Englishmen in
his position in the Premier League. At 71, Hodgson is the oldest and
arguably the most successful.
• Crystal Palace have failed to score in three consecutive Premier
League home matches for the first time since September 2017.
• On Tuesday 25th Crystal Palace put West Brom out of the Carabao
Cup with a 3-0 thumping. This result ensures that the Eagles have
the respect and admiration of all Wolves fans.
• Wilfried Zaha has been complaining that he is a target for fouls. He
certainly draws a lot of fouls for sure but by the end of this season I
would be surprised if he is fouled more times than Wolves’ Diogo
Jota.
• Wilfried Zaha has had a hand in 10 goals in his last 12 Premier
League appearances (8 goals, 2 assists)

Gem’s prediction: 1-2

I remember saying in the summer before Leicester snapped him up that Maddison would be a good signing for us. He has stepped up to the top flight really well and Leicester will do well to hold on to him in the summer. I imagine all the top clubs will be in for him, and that of course includes Wolves. Although whether he is better than what we already have.....

Just arriving in London for a match that starts in 21 hours time. I’m sure I’ll find something to entertain me here

I think most people now think Mourinho’s time is nearly up at Old Trafford and the bookies have already started betting on where he will go next. Inter Milan are favourites while Wolves are 5th favourites. No way would I want him instead of Nuno

Nuno and Mourinho are both Portuguese but apart from that they are polar opposites. Mourinho would undo all the good work that Nuno has done and p1ss off the fans in very short order.

I feel tomorrows game will be a low scoring one, if we go by results so far. We have scored 8 from 7 and they have scored 5. We've only conceded 6 and they've conceded 8.

1-0 to us, methinks.

1-1 i reckon

I'm with you wolfie, 0-1 to the wolves.

Just watched the BBC premier league show, nice interviews with Patricio, Moutinho and Nuno. We play to win, but the how is important.

looks like someone has got me a ticket! my friend needs to meet someone at Palace, not my favourite ground but great to see us play live and much shorter journey than usual, 2-1 to us I think, rain forecast I remember getting completely drenched there with my son many years ago

Remember going there with my saints mates one time when they had to win to survive and took about 16,000 away fans, against Wimbledon.
