PS Store Prices

Why are games so expensive on the PS store? I prefer downloading games now but some of the prices unless they are very old games are ridiculous

Can’t wait for red dead redemption 2 but the standard edition is going to cost £60 and the special edition 84.00! Might compare prices on amazon or go to game

I thought the point in digital downloads was that it would be cheaper what with there being no need for packaging

New games are very expensive but it's all about constantly looking for the deals and reductions of which there are usually plenty. Also with PS Plus there's been so many good free games I won't have to buy a new game again anytime soon.

Gaming seems to have streamlined for a lot of players.

Gaming seems to be far more now about players buying one or two new games a year rather than lots of different titles.

Plenty of people willing to buy FIFA or COD every year, then maybe another big hitter game, and then also play whatever comes out on ps plus.

After all the price of ps plus, or Xbox live, is now pretty much the cost of a new game every year

Base.com and shopto are usually good on prices for new and slightly older games.

If there is a gap between your ps plus subscription do you lose all the free games that you've amassed over time? Or are they all still available to download again when you come back as a ps plus subscriber?

Superb, any games you have downloaded using PS+ will always be there on your account.

So taking a break and coming back, all your games will still be available, you won't lose them.

Ok cool. Will PS Plus games that I've downloaded onto my ps4 still be available to play if/when I don't have PS plus ?

Not that I'm planning to have any gaps of course but just if there was a gap of a few days for example.

You can't play PS+ games if you don't have a subscription, the games will still be on your system, they just won't open, until you renew your subscription.
