Very disappointed yesterday, felt we should’ve won the game. Fair play to Aberdeen - they were stuffy and hard to break down.
Some thoughts:
Coulibaly and Jack shouldn’t be in the same team. I’d prefer Jack out of the two. We don’t need two defensive mids against teams who are content to defend.
We need Arfield back and ideally another creative midfielder. This would allow us to mix up the attacks rather than going down the wing all the time.
Flanagan isn’t a left back. He’s ok at defending in this position but always checks in onto his stronger foot going forward and slows play up. Need to get Barisic back.
We are putting too much pressure on two young players (Ejaria and Kent) to be our main creative force. They need rested occasionally.
Final balls need to be as crisp as most of the passing in midfield.
Crossing needs to be improved, it has been poor the last couple of games. Same goes for corners.
Both Goldson and Worrals distribution is poor. Katic is far better on the ball. He should be in the team despite that recent sshitshow.
Subs need to be used earlier.
Sadiq looks poor, but it’s hard to be too critical as he shouldn’t have been thrown into that game without a run out in the team.
Have to remember that this is pretty much a new team, with only one transfer window - I’m happy to have this season as one in which we are building a team and style of play. We need to be patient.

I imagine Grezda will get time but there's a few opinions quickly turning on some of his signings.
All of a sudden Ejaria is holding on to the ball too long, Kent's final ball isn't good enough, Coolbilly is actually not offering anything Ryan Jack doesn't already and Scott Arfield is constantly injured.
Add in Sadiq and it won't be long before a lot of fans start questioning recruitment again.

These are the players that we have relied upon to get us to the Europa league and to top our group there.
Both magnificent achievements.
Domestically we have been up and down but they are also the players that have kept us within two points of Celtic in the league.
I am not suggesting that they cannot improve further or that their form has always been perfect - but over the piece they have been good signings who have improved us.
Sunday was a bad day for us. But Aberdeen offered very little, sat in and made it hard for us. When you are missing your two main strikers that scenario is never going to be plain sailing.
We are top goal scorers in the league though. These guys mentioned have all made a big contribution to that.
I for one wont be writing them off after one game against Aberdeen.
