Uuuurgh.

Doubtless there are other threads but I dont want to read them.

Fvck me that was poor. Just think it was utterly unprofessional really. I like to give credit where it's due and they were good finishes and solid defending after but....

Weak goals to concede and no quality when it mattered. Our passing has been shiiiiiit most of the season. Often only a yard out it's still really important as runs get checked, offsides get given, chances go begging. First touches are not good either throughout the team. It's the little things and some of it is confidence and some of it is bottling.

I always thought we'd struggle in this group (as much as the other teams anyway) but thought we had got ourselves in a great position.

We can turn it around by beating Napoli by more than one goal but there really is no excuse for tonight.

Ultimately though the lads need to get their heads right. We've had issues with fitness and there is a lot of pressure but we'll see what they're made of over the next five games as there are some proper bananna skins. Im still pleased but just want them to stay focused and have the confidence to show their quality.

Chin up, we can still do this. The context is that we've been through a particularly tough month and the injuries in midfield have piled-up but I still think we will qualify.

Possibly. As said Im still pleased but I dont think they are handling pressure very well. Missed chances against Arsenal and then, well I dint know what that was tonight.

We'll beat Fulham though and I fancy us at home to Napoli. Watford could be tough though.

I feel this weekend I pointed some of this out and you of all people denied that currently you’re playing carp

Few moments of good fortune go the other way and you’d be well off the pace in the league

This defensive counter attacking style just doesn’t suit a team that had high press drilled into them, your midfield is beyond unimaginative

Sorry but you literally didnt point any of that out to me. I dont think we are playing that badly (although we did tonight) and if we are then it mist mean we'd be amazing if we played well.

City are not a fair yard stick and if any of the other clubs in the league had a few moments of good fortune go the other way they would be worse off and that includes Utd.

We also dont play defensive football and I really dont know where you get this from. It just makes me think you dont understand. Defensive football would involve things like a low block, Salah and Mane constantly tracking back and the full backs not entering the final third, none of which happens.

You have been playing a lot of long balls all season

You’ve not been doing any form of press you’re happy for the opposition to bring the ball into your half. I agree it’s not park the bus defensive but it’s some change from what Klopp used to be about.

You’ve been playing pretty carp most of the year, lucky to not lose to Chelsea and City and some very unconvincing wins v fodder. This kind of result has coming.

Also, why didn’t you put this on the pool board

I’m not looking forward to our game. If any side is out of form then Everton are the ones to help out with three points
