Not sure "technical error" is taking the blame. But at least they acknowledged the fault is with Sky, I suppose.

Yes, I heard it too. What they should have said was

“We apologise for the background interference”

Bet they won’t own up to canned crowd noise though

If Sky were truly sorry, they would make a decent donation to the Poppy Appeal to make amends.

If Sky were truly sorry, they would put the apology in places where the fans of both Sheffield clubs, and all the people of Sheffield might see it. Not everyone is on Farcebook or Twatter.

The playing of the Last Post and the minute's silence was impeccably observed at last night's match. (I was there.)
