Crowd noise during Last Post

I didn’t see it live but looking at this it is probably correct that Sky caused this with their canned crowd noise.

Will they come clean or will they let Sheffield take the blame?

I think we might hear the same “crowd" tonight when we sing our tribute to Sky

They did straight away.

Noticed it at a game last week as well, though. A PL one, can't remember which.

Not sure "technical error" is taking the blame. But at least they acknowledged the fault is with Sky, I suppose.

Good! As I say I didn’t watch it.

No doubt some fat fingered idiot practicing for tonight

A statement read: "We are aware that some viewers experienced audio issues during the playing of the Last Post prior to the Sheffield derby, we apologise unreservedly for this regrettable technical error."

Yes, I heard it too. What they should have said was

“We apologise for the background interference”

Bet they won’t own up to canned crowd noise though

If Sky were truly sorry, they would make a decent donation to the Poppy Appeal to make amends.

If Sky were truly sorry, they would put the apology in places where the fans of both Sheffield clubs, and all the people of Sheffield might see it. Not everyone is on Farcebook or Twatter.

The playing of the Last Post and the minute's silence was impeccably observed at last night's match. (I was there.)
