Fabinho exit rumours

A bit of a slow news day but it seem many big clubs from Italy like Juve and AC Milan are interested in taking Fabinho off us.

Clearly he hasn’t settled which is why it took him ages to have his debut. When he has played he has looked poor at times. Had a decent game at home against Red Star but against Arsenal he completely lost it and we were playing like we were a man down.

Fabinho has shown at Monaco that he has quality but this could be a case of a good player not being suited to the PL. When Hendo is fit he will start, Wij takes the other spot and then you have Milner, Keita, Shaq, Lallana fighting with Fabinho.

Do we cut our losses and offload him? Clearly we need someone in midfield who is creative and good in attacking possession. Sell and buy a much needed creative midfielder?

We do need a decent fee from the Italians though.

The current set of midfielders, who've been with Klopp since the begining haven't covered themselves in glory either, so to say Fabinho should be sold is mental.

He seems alright imo...apart from Arsenal which even Klopp said he's still adjusting to learning the holding midfield role by himself.

He does have that face that says he's slow on takeoff though lol

Sums up this generation of football fans.

So very fickle and have no grasp of reality.

Is anyone saying get rid?

This place is bizarre sometimes.

No people are criticizing his style of play and are suggesting a move wouldn't be a bad thing

In Klopp's words Fabinho prefers two players in the holding positions, we don't do that very often so it's getting used to a new style of play.

Most players work their way into the squad slowly, Ox, Shaqiri, Robertson being good examples.

Keita was thrown in and has been pretty average. That's why he's not played much.

Keita has been injured.

Sorry, wasn't very clear.

That's why Fabinho hasn't played much that should read.

Im hoping Fabinho will be fine but I didnt expect anything ground breaking when he signed tbh. Either way as a club we're doing okay (CL has the makings of a bit of a disaster though) and it's a squad game so no bother really.

My only worry on this is that if its from his agent then it suggests he wants out himself.

If we picked badly and he hasnt the balls to fight for the spot then thats an issue
