I heard a rumour that Tom Heaton was set to join us actually, took it with a pinch of salt as I heard from a guy at the gym who claims to know an agent.

the guy reminds me of some folk to be fair, knows everybody, never wrong etc, and when he is, he's still somehow right.. you know the sort

He would be an excellent signing if he came back fit.

However, my only challenge is whether he would be able to play it out from the back which is essential to our tactics.

Heaton or Pope would be astute signings. Mccarthy, Forster are two other good options.
