I'm sorry, but to lose all three away Champions League group games and be on the verge of exit at the group stage of the competition is absolutely unacceptable for a manager who has spent the amount of money he has to supposedly take Liverpool to the next level. I remember when we won the Champions League with Di Matteo (A step further than Klopp got last season) but then didn't make it through the group stages the next season, Di Matteo was fired. I don't agree with that firing, But Di Matteo in less than 12 months at Chelsea won 2 trophies and Klopp in three and a half years has won 0 trophies and accomplished very little, so Di Matteo had way more reason than Klopp has currently to not be either fired or even under pressure.
I don't understand the affection for Klopp at all. In three and a half years he has:
1) Finished 8th, 4th and 4th and has no chance of winning the league this season
2) Bottled a Europa League final with Sevilla (Funny how it's only a big deal when Man Utd lose to Sevilla )
3) Won 0 domestic cups and has already been eliminated from one of the domestic cups this season.
4) Is at this moment on the verge of exiting the Champions League at the Group stages
5) Has spent more money than any Liverpool manager I can remember yet hasn't matched highest league position under Rafael Benitez or Brendan Rodgers and hasn't matched the trophy count of either Rafael Benitez or Kenny Dalglish.
I don't understand it. When you look on paper at what he's accomplished in THREE AND A HALF YEARS, the only vaguely impressive accomplishment is reaching a Champions League final which he lost so it didn't gain anything for Liverpool anyway. Why is a manager like this living with no pressure? I just don't understand it.

Mourinho shouldn’t be blamed for this season at United “because he didn’t get the players he wanted”
But Klopp should be blamed for finishing 8th despite not signing any players, coming in part way through the season and being new to the league.

You're putting words in my mouth. If Mourinho finishes 4th this season he finishes 4th. If he finishes 8th he finishes 8th. If he finishes 20th he finishes 20th. The finish is his, he owns it. I think he should have been given the players he wanted, but on his record, whatever league position Man Utd get will be there if he's the manager at the end of the season. I've never denied Mourinho finished 6th. He did. I can accept that.
You're trying to take away 8th from Klopp's record because he missed less than two months of the season. You can't do that.
