1 or 2 strikers

What do most people prefer for United one or two strikers spearheading our forward line. I myself prefer two strikers up top. We had Ruud van nistleroy as a lone target man and yes he was awesome and know we have lukaku trying to do the same thing. Me I would like to see 2 up top like a few just to mention cole and York, Ronaldo and Rooney, Hughes and mcclair even our subs ole and teddy when coming on did better in a two man strike. So what do most prefer one or two also who had the best partnership at United.
