I agree Matip is injury prone. We lost TAA gomes and Matip in a space of a week. Really need clyne now but he is probably injured as well!

Clyne/Fabinho can play RB and let's not forget that Lovren had a good run of games with vvd next to him where he looked decent.

Lovren is usually fine with VVD next to him. In fact any one of our other defenders are usually fine with VVD next to them.

Luckily our next CL game isn’t till Feb. VVD is suspended, Gomez should be back by then though.

He’s looked alright this season and there hasn’t been the usual gut feeling something is going to go wrong.

Will be late February so both Gomez and Matip should be back and at least two weeks in training by then.
