Viva Rovers on Twitter has been giving out some not so subtle hints we are about to sign someone. I can't work out who it is though.
Apparently their wiki page has been changed to say they play for donny but can't find them myself. Anyone know who it is?
A new striker??

Hey, Azza, NY, I will also be going to the Hull game. I'd love to meet you both and anyone else on here who can make it so I will also head to the Cheeswold before the match if that's ok with you.....oh, I will be bringing the Mrs though - gradually converting her - hope you don't mind! Question is, how will I recognise you?

Sorry - for Cheeswold, read Cheswold - damned "e" key keeps sticking - either that or I must be hungrier than I think I am!

Don't worry Crazy, I am an honorary "Cheesehead", Wisconsinite. I shall wear my Green Bay Packers jacket.
I don't think there will be many of those about.

Crazy,
I totally agree we have no option but to get behind the team. If the worst happens and we do go down, although I doubt it, Sean is the best man to get us back up. Staying away, booing, or leaving early does the team no good at all but that's football it happens. I have always defended Sean from silly criticism but when you think about it he's been in the game a long time and has learnt to deal with it.

Got to admire you alex for saying the things you have said about sod, captain of the Titanic comes to mind though.
In my opinion, he's time was up a long time ago, only JR kept him in a job ( to save face ) as he wanted him to turn it around but has failed miserably. 3rd time unlucky if he doesnt get anything from the next two home games.

Healys struggling to make an impact at rangers maybe he should have been a better option?
if we do go down we'll end up doing a grimsby and plymouth keep going down and down again.
staying away is what people consider being a better option as people can spend money and time doing things they enjoy rather than pay £27 quid for something theyre not getting value for. if people boo thats up to them if players arent big enough to blank things like that out then thats a weakness. we will go down with this current management in charge we will lose players in january i,e sharp, bennett, copps?? then what? i feel people are dreaming and are in the clouds and not looking at the "current" picture, we've money but are tight in using it, supporters are getting blamed for not coughing up more or attending games (see above for reason), the players are not playing for the manager and supposedly doing as he asks, when things get heated behind closed doors odriscoll cant handle the players i.e. cardiff match. when people speak up to him he just drops players maybe they have a point we dont see, considering several have, and most of them have been shown the door!

I fear you may be right Azza in that we could go into free fall if we drop this season. We struggle as it is to attract/hold onto players. If we go down there will certainly be players who will leave, and who could blame them really?
Very few footballers these days show real loyalty to any club. I'm not talking kissing badges when all is going well, more sticking with the club when the going gets tough. If we don't stay in the Championship we could lose all the momentum we have gathered in climbing out of those dark days of not so long ago.
The board thinks our attendances are bad now? just wait and see how many turn up to watch us in League One. They cannot keep blaming the supporters for not putting money into the coffers. I believe most of us that contribute on here part with a lot of money to watch our team each year. They cannot ask any more of us. We do what we can. We turn up week in, week out and I hope cheer on and get behind our team. I've said this before, but it's make your mind up time now for this board. Where do we want to be? Do you really want to see the team be successful? How else do we get bums on seats? We've done and will continue to do our bit, it's up to the money men now to make the decision. What's it going to be?
I'll turn up and support the team no matter how low we fall. Will this present board? Only time will tell. If we sack Sean, who else can we get that can do a better job? If we keep him, can he turn things round before it's too late?
This may not be popular, but I'd rather we keep him, let him get on with the job and keep our team in the Championship. If we're relegated, I'd still like to see him stay in place and then judge him on the following season. If that does not end well, then maybe it'll be time to part company.
