Déjà vu (and trivia)?

Just been doing a bit of Googling and happened across a fact that a certain Derby legend scored the winner on his debut in a 4-3 result, (after twice being behind).

I know the parallels are tenuous (and it wasn't his debut), but if Jack is half as good he really will become a legend.

Q1. Can you name the debutant in said game above?
Q2. Who scored our other three (hat trick)?
Q3. Who were the oppo. that day?

A chocolate frog to the first correct answer (no Googling)!

I'm slow to post today but I know it is the great Kevin who scored 1 and Taffy Durban who got the hattrick. I liked Durban but he was too mouthy for Brian to take. In our promotion from Div 2 we didn't really get into gear till Durban got into the team and he wore the number 4 shirt for a while.

Oh I forgot, it was Huddersfield Town who we played.

How much was it for an OAP in 1966 VC?

I don't know that Scouse as I was only a young chap.

I do know that my season ticket from the 1968/69 season was £4-5s-0d. That's £4.25 in the new fangled new money. This was to stand in the Normanton or Osmaston Terracing. I used to stand in the Normanton lower.

The next year when we were promoted I had a season ticket in the brand new Ley Stand and this cost £12-10s. (£12.50) With the amazing football in this season when we thrashed Man U with Charlton, Law and Best in the team and thrashed Spurs with the great Jimmy Greaves, it was the best £12.50 I've ever spent.

Glad you asked Scouse.

PS I've still got the old season ticket books.

I find it highly implausible that you were ever a young chap, VC. Can you prove this?

I'm still young at heart even though I come over as a miserable so and so. I'm listening to Tony Blackburn's Sounds of the Sixties as I post and he is playing some fab tunes, you can't beat sixties music.
