So, after last nights defeat, what do the next 5 games have in store for the Premier League leaders ?
Liverpool.
Brighton away.
Palace home.
Leicester home.
West Ham away.
Bournemouth home.
Will our lead be wittled away, or can we maintain, or even extend our advantage over our main rivals ?
Man City.
Wolves home.
Huddersfield away.
Newcastle away.
Arsenal home.
Chelsea home.
Next 5 games.

Brighton will be the hardest game of those, their home record is ridiculous.

Palace at home has been a difficult game for us in recent years.

Really disappointed to lose last night but if we win our next 3/4 league games then we can write last night off but if we now let it affect us it will be more than 3 points dropped
Anything can happen in football but for me we are miles better than our next 3/4 opponents so no excuses

Had we won or drawn last night then i’d expect us to have got through those games with maximum points.
However - given we lost, there may be a slight wobble.
I’m hoping however that the players remain focused. I recall last season having lost to Tottenham at Wembley and we responded to it with a great run. That’s required again and who knows, we may have regained our 7 point advantage after those 5 fixtures.

Can see a return of 13 pts outta 15 there (assuming all league games?)
Would only put Brighton as a possible slip
up with a draw (no pun or wum intended 😉👍)

if we wna win the league we've gta beat all those teams, they are tricky though and will need full focus. Be interesting to see how we bounce back and if we can get back on a winning streak.

Fully expect to win all 5 of those games fairly comfortably.
The big question is will city drop points against Wolves, Arsenal or Chelsea.
Would feel much better if they draw at least one of those games as this would allow us the breathing space to draw or even lose against the likes of manu who are a decent side and everton who try harder against us than they do against anybody else.
To be honest though now that both city games are done it's all about us and how we play.
Keep the juggernaut rolling along and city can't stop us.

I'm sure there's a man Utd away game missing as it's right after these.
For the record after the start/first half we have had it would be silly to say anything less than 15 out of 15 in the op games list is not an issue.
We need to win all 5 and city can show what they've got v the two teams fighting for 4th
