Has anyone ever won anything big, decent that shocked you or left you ‘’made up’’. Im not talking about bottles of wine or chocolates but real stuff. What about someone you know or know of.
I won a Dyson cleaner 3 years ago and was chuffed to bits but a lad who i went on the Corby CSC with for some of the games was one of the Corby bus drivers that won the Euromillions a few years back (3.6 mil was his share). I see him around town every so often and i dont think he’s been sober since.

Was £12k. Split between my brother and I that went to the games. He had bought the tickets that night, so we shared as we always said we would. My boy would have been about 9 at the time ffs!!

I won a CASK of whisky (Bells) in a prizedraw when I was 9...obviously I wasnt overly impressed seeing it took a full 3 more years until I turned into a jakeball!
I was therefore only too delighted to accept the £120 for it that my grandad offered - but then my maw made me hand over half the cash to my sister..and its only now, I'm realising that the cask must have been worth at least a grand...the robbing old cant!
