Yesterday was a real kick in the teeth

for all of the supporters. After the disappointment of midweek, you would have thought Poch would have at least acknowledged the fans, and thought, right I am going to put out really strong team, despite the front three missing, a team that can win this tie. But no what he did yesterday was unbelievable. He put out a mish mash of a team, that in no way was going to win that match, sat on his hands for the entire match, and watched as Spurs went out of their second cup competition in four days.

The fans were in good voice throughout the game, and they did not deserve that team Poch, they deserved better than that, they paid good money to see if not the strongest possible, certainly a lot stronger than the team you put out. I have to say when I saw the team, no Lloris, no Rose, no Toby, no Winks, no Eriksen, no Lamela, I though what the feck are you doing Poch, don`t you realise this cup is very important to the supporters now. How did you possibly think that by going away to another Prem side, no matter they were not the best, you were simply going to rock up with that side and win?

Last week I purchased tickets for Newcastle, Leicester and Borussia Dortmund, but I am seriously thinking about not going now. What is the point, when the manager is disrespecting the supporters. I have supported the club through thick and thin for nigh on 60 years, and every manager other than the current one has always respected the cup competitions.

Poch is now gobbing off to the press, of how Spurs won all their trophies in black an white, and cup competitions are worthless. Honestly try winning something first, then maybe you may have a point. I always liked Poch, conducts himself well, but I think the parting of waves is coming sooner, rather than later. I simply do not think Spurs will win a trophy under his watch, is his attitude is to forget about any competition, other than finishing top four. Yes I know top four is important, but it is not everything to supporters, they would much rather be cheering their club on in a final of any cup competition, I am pretty sure of that. Sort it out Poch.

Right Rant over. COYS

"Any team that are not currently playing CL football cannot be considered bigger."

Then you have a grave misunderstanding of the meaning of a "big club". You're talking about the "best team".

Regarding ST and cup games, consider yourselves lucky.

We have to buy all CL & FA cup home tickets, league cup & Europa are optional.

However we missed the league cup home tie versus Burton last season, went to every other home game and the FA Cup semi at Wembley, but couldn't get final tickets because of this.

Are you serious?

What happens if you refuse, or is it impossible to but the ST without paying for the extra games?

We are unquestionably a big club but probably the smallest of the big clubs in the top 6. That is about fair to say.

I never quite this this big club, small club thing. Spurs are playing CL football, so who cares about big club small club rubbish.

I never remember a game back in the day when any Diva was rested...... Especially the FA Cup! Maybe the influx of foreign managers do not comprehend the importance as us as fans do? I know a lot of fans if they saw the team sheet the day before would not waste their hard earned and time and rightly so! Leicester are going to finish mid table at best and our idiot of a manager plays a weak side against Man City in the League Cup! WTF?

Give the fans cheaper prices if you play cheaper players!

They take it out automatically, it's not optional and I guess you know what you're signing up for.

That's why you see so many empty seats sometimes. People are forced to pay for games they cannot commit to.

They should put a scheme in place to allow you to sell tickets to fans who want to go but they've no consideration for the fans.

Poch is a stats man and I know stats shows that most top 4 sides find it difficult to have a good cup run and also either CL/title.

I think Poch realised the team is bare right now and saved Erisken for the most critical games that matter.

Poch is also balancing between the game played versus days count which is higher then Liverpool's and accordingly giving key players some rest.

Poch didn't lose us the game yesterday. Trippier and Peters whatever, who I don't like at all did.

Poch has a duty of care to players as a manager and Eriksen needed a rest.

Its very simple mate... Poch is being paid to deliver top 4. The stadium has been built for CL football & attracting bigger corp sponsorship. This has nothing to do with football. This is all about Poch & Levy justifying their decisions. Poch for staying with Spurs ("the project"and Levy for sacrificing the chance of on filed success for what he hopes will be his cash cow stadium. The thoughts, wishes & hopes of the fans are of no concern to either man as long as we keep turning up.

Poch has unique skill set in today's game in so much that his coaching ability offsets the need to make big signings..... sadly that has its limitations in an environment of clubs with massive squads, huge budgets and the ability to outspend us on fees and wages. We will never know just how good he is as a manager until he is given the resources of guys like Pep, Jose, Klopp and whoever manages United, Chelsea & at some point Everton. All we know right now is that Levy is doing what Levy does...... Stretching ever penny as far as it will go & Poch is enabling him to do that. Everyone is happy..... Levy & board are sweet as long as CL is maintained & the reality is Poch doesn't need to win anything at Spurs as his resume is enhanced by the fact he's over achieving on what clearly isn't a fair playing field. If any Spurs fan thinks United or Madrid wont go after him at some point you are out of your mind.

The only people who are missing out is the fans as the best side for generation will go unrewarded because of a lack of additional investment & a manager who deliberately targets things he knows he cant win because its what the board wants to hear while delivering the status quo. Its a win, win for them both.

We are all being taken for mugs

How long before Poch walks out to win trophies elsewhere is the question then.

What makes you think he's a "Mourinho"?

Ie Trophy digger?

Poch thrives on building a side and make them into a chellanger to the "established" top sides, like he did with Espanyol.

Poch is annoyed about the delays with the stadium but this stadium is going to be better than any anywhere in the world, so it does take time.

We already have some of the best training facilities.

No reason for him to leave. He's going to have a massive stadium with huge number of attendances next year, and that would be the ideal platform to win trophies.

Not this season when we are renting our "home".

But then I don;t expect you anyone to understand that specially those who worshipped "Mourinho" and his likes!
