Does anyone else think this is wrong ?

Been there and I was charged then but why should Mancs benefit. They already benefit from it being there.

Man Utd fans will be livid.

It all depends on how it’s funded: if the Manc taxpayers are already footing the bill then they shouldn’t have to pay twice.

If it’s funded by government it’s an absolute disgrace and we should all don yellow tabards and set fire to cars.

Why should us United fans have to pay for what we created? We created the majority of football history. You should feel honoured to pay to get a sneak peak at our success.

It has been primarily funded by Manchester City Council. It gets some sponsorship and is also a registered charity. The museum reckons that by charging it will become self-sustaining and will then not require any Council funding.

So all should pay.

The main museum in Auckland runs a similar thing, it's free to enter for people who live in Auckland as our rates contribute to its upkeep, other new Zealand residents it's also free but a donation is encouraged, where's foreign tourists are charged $25 for adults and $10 for children.

When I eventually visit NZ, can I borrow your ID card so I don't have to pay?

Went to an art gallery in Seville and if you could show you were from an EU nation you didn't have to pay. That wont matter to Brexiters, most couldn't work out how to catch a plane and would never go to an art gallery anyway.

Scouse, my wife always speaks to the person at the desk, my English accent would obviously raise questions so her being a kiwi negates any confusion. So, as and when you come, just let me know and we will get you in 👍
