Peterborough Utd V Plymouth Argyle

I'm back, at least for a while (see my response to the previous posting).

Listening to Tuesday's game against Bristol Rovers on the radio, Posh sounded a bit disjointed - often the case when a new (or, in our case, old) manager comes in (or returns).

Tomorrow's game, should be more reflective of the Fergie (Jr) effect.

Here's hoping that Toney continues scoring, and that Godden resumes scoring (he knocked two in against Plymouth the last time that we played them).

That August game at Plymouth resulted in a fifth win in a row for us (which included a 3-1 defeat of current leaders, Luton). The five goals scored against Argyle kept us in 1st place in League One and dropped Plymouth to 24th (last) place.

Since then both teams' fortunes have changed. Plymouth have risen to 17th place, whilst we have dropped to 6th. Having said that, we really ought to be winning Saturday's game (although our home record is not brilliant, and points to a draw).

Needless to say, UTP!
